Become a Volunteer

Volunteers play a huge role in expanding our operations, reaching community, and meeting our mission.

We offer several volunteer opportunities, including in-school education, events, market days, farm field trips, fundraisers, and more. We are always interested in hearing what you can bring to the table. Are you a photographer who wants to offer your time and skills during farm field trips? Do you have organizational skills and want to assist with our communications and capacity building?

COVID-19 Update: Volunteers who regularly work on school grounds will be expected to follow each district’s protocol for COVID-19. Background checks and vaccine requirement information is available on each school’s website and UVF2S can help direct volunteers to the appropriate resources.

Volunteer Waiver

I wish to partake and involve myself as a volunteer with Umpqua Valley Farm to School.

I acknowledge that volunteering with UVF2S may require the use of power tools & equipment, as well as physically demanding tasks which pose potential risks and hazards. I voluntarily choose to participate and assume all risks of harm, injury, or loss due to my participation, whether caused by the negligence of garden rules and safety protocols or other. 

I am solely responsible for all costs related to potential injury and will not hold UVF2S accountable for any claims in connection with such treatment or other medical services.

I understand and agree that UVF2S may photograph or record my participation for internal or promotional use.
